    King of TPW

    Challenge from Tha ComBac Kid:

For the past 2 years we have grown into a special entity. What we did was turn absolutley nothing, straight into something. We took TPW to places that we never thought we could possibly reach, yea we didn't get as big as calling ourselves a promotion, but we still got big enough in Muscatine to where people knew what TPW was..

I can honstly say I had alot of fun with you guys wrestling because we all had fun doing it..we all shared the same interest in wrestling which made it even more better. TPW wasn't built by one person, it was built by all of us together.

Yes the Originals!!..."Hardcore since day one" Vince Castillo.."The One" Big John....Mr. Chaos himself Lazy Biggio....and Tha ComBac Kid....these four wrestlers......all with egos (not as BIG as Big Johns though).....are all pitted against each other.

In one match......Yes I am proposing a fatal Four Way NO HOLDS BARRED Match to determine who is the better man, the better wrestler, and the better Champion........................thats right.........................................................since there is alot of dispute in TPW over which title is better or what not........................................................ the TPW Hardcore Championship and the TPW Heavyweight Championship will both be on the line to crown the King of TPW...........winner will recieve both the TPW Titles, the bragging rights, and the person to call thereself the Face of TPW!..............

So wats it gonna be fellas.........you game or yall dont think you have wat it takes because this will be the most biggest, anticipating, important match in TPW history?!

Think about it.......because in my mind.....Tha ComBac Kid has all ready Won!

                                               The Crown...

The King of TPW Challenge was originally issued August 30th, 2008...since then TPW had a taping that saw a change of hands in the hardcore title. Jesse"The Rage"Rogers is now the Hardcore Champion, with this a United TPW Title can not happen but a "King" will still be crowned. So the victor of the King of TPW match will then face the Hardcore Champion at a later date. The winner of that match will be crowned the true "King of TPW".

  • The Rage is Hardcore!

    TPW NEWS

         Jesse"The Rage"Rogers becomes TPW's new Hardcore Champion!

On Sept. 1st 2008 Jesse "The Rage" Rogers became the new TPW Hardcore Champion after submitting Arab Assassin in a "Finisher" Match.

The match was set up to be J-FOO's first title defense. The Triple-Threat "Finisher" Match did not go the former champ's way.

Although J-FOO did the Cutter on Arab onto a chair...he did not pin him in time when Jesse broke up any chance for J-FOO to retain the Hardcore title.

Jesse"The Rage"Rogers then pulled off a Deadbolt Lock submission finisher to end the match with Arab tapping out, even though he was only an inch away from the ropes.

When asked how he felt on his loss J-FOO answered passionately: "I finally got to be Hardcore Champion, so what...there is a new title I'm focused on and that's to be "King of TPW"!

Jesse"The Rage"Rogers had this to say:
"I didn't know about the match until I arrived to TPW that day. I have said I was going to the Hardcore Division but didn't expect to win the championship just like that! It is a good feeling to have held two titles here in TPW."

Arab Assassin briefly spoke to our interviewer:
"I have lost my chance to re-claim what is mine, once again. I feel I must re-start, re-train, and re-focus my mind to a setting in which I am the one force that is constant and everlasting in victory. I may take some time off of TPW and will be asking for my release shortly here after."

This all started with the vacated title from Lazy Biggio, after he refused to speak about a title match discussion, then did not finish out a TPW taping . LB understood the title holder's rights and was stripped of his title.

That same taping J-FOO squared off against Arab Assassin for the vacant TPW Hardcore Title. J-FOO came out the victor and was to defend his newly gained title at the next taping. Maybe it was just bad luck but J-FOO then lost his title in his first title defense on Monday. Now "The Rage" is champion, but some say there is a challenger in the distance...a former champion wanting to re-claim his title...who can it be?

    Other news:

TPW Originals Vince Castillo and CBK (Michael Rhoades) have entered into the world of indy wrestling. They are being trained by TS Agressor and Johny Fitness in Algona, IA at The Vault. Algona is the home of IPW or Impact Pro Wrestling. Good Luck guys!

Relations between MXWA and Chief Attakullakulla have soured. September 20th, 2008 will be Chief's last match in MXWA against Muscatine's own Latin Thunder. Chief has request it be a Japanese Death Match.

Rematch: IPW's Ian"Beef"Wellington and Big Picture will face off at Aftershock...will Ian be able to gain a victor over Big Picture or will Picture lay out the "Beef" once again?! Be there for Aftershock Sept.20th, 2008 in Muscatine, IA at the Fiesta Hall!

    *Update*

-Word to the future #1 Contender-

The #1 Contender's Rights contract has been made as well as the Champion's Agreement contract. In the same day that the contract signing is held the championship match will be contested later that taping. There will be no qualifications of any sort just your contender's rights is needed.

Also each championship title will be contested in it's own match type. Here are your choices:

If chosen the TPW Championship will be contested in a "Best 2 out of 3 Falls" match. You can only win by pin fall in this match-up.

If chosen the TPW Hardcore Championship will be contested in a "Russian Chain Submission Match". There are no DQ's in this one but you can only win by submission obviously.

Now the only thing we can do now is see who wins the tournament and what their choice will be.

If by any chance a competitor can't make it out to his next match he will have to find a replacement wrestler or forfeit. Either way it's not good for the injured because you basically are giving up your title opportunity.

    *First Round Winners*

    Sean Bean

    Mr.Flash

    Dick Ritchie

    The Reno Bandit

*Note that there will be one more match held in the first round: The Gentleman vs Rosso Nova

Since there are/will be five competitors left we have given a free advancement based on the performances of each 1st round match.

(Since Gentleman and Rosso Nova have not wrestled yet they are both excluded from the tournament advancement opportunity)

The wrestler chosen is: Dick Ritchie

Congratulations Ritchie you have now entered into the
Semi-Finals of the #1 Contender Tournament.

Also we here at TPW would like to congratulate Lazy Biggio on his win against Arab Assassin for the TPW Hardcore Title. It has been a long difficult road for LB and he truly deserves the title more than anyone.

    TPW NEWS

*Say Hello to the New TPW Champion:

               Jesse"The Rage"Rogers

    TPW Taping #5 Results (April 5th 2008)

Backstage: Lazy Biggio is declared by TPW Management the new TPW Champion..to everyones surprise Biggio declines.

"I never really wanted that belt...I wanted to retire Big John. I succeeded and now I am going back to my real home, the TPW Hardcore Division. Find yourself another champion!"--Lazy Biggio

With that TPW begins with its opening match.

    Singles Match:
    Señor Loco vs Playa

Señor Loco defeats The Playa via low blow. Loco's dirty tactics have taken him back into the winners circle once again.

Announced during the match is CBK's injury report, he may be out for 1 to 2 weeks.

Also TPW Management sends word that there will be an open invitation match for the TPW Title.

    Promo:
Mr.Flash cuts a promo saying he has entered into the open invitation match.

    Arab's Announcement:
Arab Assassin is out in the ring and explains his plan to unite the two TPW Titles. With Big John out of TPW his plan is now somewhat ruined. Biggio's music hits and LB tells Arab that he is back in the Hardcore Division and he is going to take the Hardcore Title.

    Backstage Interview:
TPW Management sends word that they would like to make Biggio the guest Referee for the Open Invitational. Instead they run into Vince Castillo, he explains that he has been discussing a few matters with Biggio. LB accepts the ref. position but we can't help but wonder what Vince Castillo is doing back?!

    Main Event
Open Invitational for the TPW Title:

Mr.Flash vs Jesse "The Rage"Rogers vs Sean Bean vs Dick Ritchie

Mr.Flash taunts all his opponents with his little "sexy dance".
Right at the bell Flash gets rocked in the nose by "The Rage" and then elbowed by Sean knocking out Flash for the beginning part of the match. Sean and Jesse double team Ritchie as he is planted on SB's shoulders "The Rage" hooks Ritchie right in the face busting his lower lip open a bit.

With two opponents out Jesse turns his attention to Sean. The two begin a slug fest with neither one gaining any ground. Mr.Flash finally gets back into the mix. He starts in on Jesse with his signature spinning chops knocking Jesse on his ass. Sean and the Flash Man wrestle it out as Sean picks Mr.Flash up on his shoulders. However Mr.Flash reverses out of the Sean-a-nator attempt and attacks SB once more. Tired of the Fuzzy Hat Mr.Flash, SB again attempts the Sean-a-nator and hits it. Unfortunately for Sean his pin fall is broken up by Ritchie and "The Rage".

Ritchie tries to gain momentum as he lays the smack down on Jesse Rogers. It's short lived as Sean and Jesse again double team Ritchie.

Don't count Mr.Flash out yet, Flash showing flexibility, spin kicks"The Rage" right in the gut and in the face. Then we witness one of the best flying bulldogs of all time as Flash literally flys across the ring taking Ritchie down with him. Not done yet Mr.Flash picks up Sean Bean and begins to do the famous Airplane Spin on him. Afterward Flash and SB are outside the ring fumbling on their feet like two drunk ol' men.

With SB and Flash tied up one on one, the sneaky Jesse Rogers plants his Deadbolt Lock submission on Dick Ritchie.
SB low blows Mr.Flash upon seeing Ritchie's pained expression and hurries to break the hold. For a split second the hold is disconnected but Jesse quickly puts back on the hurt causing Ritchie to tap out.

One of the craziest back and forth title matches in TPW history. No one was expecting Jesse to take the title. All bets were on either Sean Bean or Dick Ritchie. Definitely a surprise, Jesse "The Rage" Rogers is finally standing tall as the new TPW Champion.

  • TPW April 5th Results

    TPW NEWS

    MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT!

After heated discussions backstage, TPW Management has come to terms with the release of Big John.

Big John has been unsatisfied with the way management has portrayed his character for quite sometime. Talks of his release have gone as far as October of 2007.

With a TPW Championship Title under his belt, Big John feels it is the right time to get out of TPW. He wants to explore other options and is rumored to go to a rival company:
    Insane Championship Wrestling (ICW)

"Thanks for the memories and the good times, no matter where I end up TPW will always be the home of "The One" Big John! Just don't get too comfortable with my leave..you never know what is on the horizon." - BIG JOHN

    We wish him the best.

    April 5th Show Results

TPW started off with a triple threat match. Each wrestler in this match was being evaluated by the TPW Staff. Though the match would not determine a new #1 contender for the TPW Title. Just simply a "impression match".

    Triple-Threat Match:
M.O.G. vs Señor Loco vs Dick Ritchie

Señor Loco had something to prove as the opening bell rang, Loco took out MOG and Ritchie with flurries of punches. However MOG quickly recovered and stopped Loco in his tracks. Ritchie was not about to let MOG take all the credit as Ritchie delivered a nasty DDT temporarily stunning Señor Loco. MOG and Ritchie began to brawl outside the ring when Loco rang MOG's neck taking him down. Before Loco could turn his attention to Ritchie, he was hit with the Barrio Cutter. Dick Ritchie pins Loco for a 3-count to win the match. TPW Management later talks with Ritchie about a future title shot plans.

    Singles Match:
    Sean Bean vs the Playa

The first two matches of Playa's TPW run haven't gone his way. Proving that he is an accomplished wrestler, Playa takes Sean down to the mat early. Picking at each limb with force, Playa was equally distributing his gift of pain. Sean Bean was down but not out! Sean slowly gained momentum and finally finished off Playa with the Sean-a-nator. No doubt SB was hurting after that one, TPW Management can't help but see this newcomer's growing potential. Sean Bean reaches a undefeated record of 3-0.

Hardcore Match for the TPW HC Title:

    Arab Assassin (c) vs Mr.Flash

The man in the fuzzy hat must of been drunk when he signed up for this match! Mr.Flash tried to gain the upper hand as he chopped away at Arab even taking the champion down. Arab reverses Flashes momentum with a chop of his own then things turned a little more hardcore or rather to a one sided brawl. Eventually Mr.Flash is choked out once again by the mysterious Arab Assassin's Jihad Blackout submission maneuver.

    Singles Match:
Tha ComBac Kid vs Jesse"The Rage"Rogers

CBK's 2nd stop on his path of revenge took a turn for the worse. As CBK lifted "The Rage" on his shoulders his muscle in his forearm tensed up sending both wrestlers to the ground outside the ring. With CBK clearly in pain, Jesse took advantage by making it back into the ring barely before the 10-Count. Tha ComBac Kid has been diagnosed with a bruised muscle and will be out of action for 1 week.

    TPW Championship Title Match:
Big John (c) vs Lazy Biggio

After months of hype and much trash talking between both parties, the time had finally arrived. LB was ready to take the belt for Big John but not after a battle. Big John tried to stay on offense but was quickly set into a defensive position as LB kept attempting submission moves. Every time Big John squirmed out of one hold Biggio was already planting a new submission.

Big John sensing defeat cracks Biggio right between the eyes to get out of a rear naked choke. This only pissed off Biggio more as LB kicked John's ribs and continued to put the hurt on him. Enough was enough John went to go get a chair but Biggio took it away throwing it aside. John knew he was in trouble and caught Biggio with a jab. As Biggio turned John picked up the chair once more and attacked Biggio continuously. Biggio had won from disqualification but in turn was not awarded with the TPW Title.

What happened next was a shock to the TPW fans and management itself. Big John, with the camera still rolling, vulgarly expressed his disgust of TPW and proceeded to throw the TPW Title in the middle of the ring. Big John was met backstage after the show by TPW Management. Shortly there after the news of Big John's release was spread throughout the locker room and on-line. The TPW Title was now vacated...who would be declared it's champion?

    Other News:

    IPW Training Camp a success!

"It was a real experience, there is so much to wrestling people just don't know about. The lessons learned here will truly help my style and help defeat my opponents. TPW better get rady cuz Vince Castillo is coming back!" --Vince Castillo

Lazy Biggio's plans to take the Hardcore Title from Arab Assassin. Arab Assassin was not available for a comment at this time.

    Rumors:

TPW allowed a match in the MXWA Show June 3rd?
